What does it cost to have a Statement of Advice (Financial Plan) prepared?

The cost of a financial plan (Statement of Advice) or even an Estate Plan, which makes recommendations on how you should structure your estate, is highly variable depending upon your personal situation.  For this reason, we do not advertise a fee schedule.

We would be remiss in making an assumption about your circumstances, propensity for financial and personal risk, goals and aspirations without first meeting with you and finding out a lot more about your circumstances.  Generally, when you first contact us, we provide you with a Welcome Pack which includes a questionnaire outlining your circumstances.  We then make an appointment to meet with you.  The meeting is absolutely free and allows us to take a closer look at your situation, wants and needs. At this meeting we will ask you to make a commitment to a Statement of Advice and commit to a Financial Planning Advice Fee if you want to go further.  Once you have agreed to work with us, and after we have presented a number of strategies and options to you in some detail, we will then assess your ongoing needs and request a Service Level Agreement and commensurate fee.  This can be as little as $4,400 or much higher depending upon the complexity of the work required and your demands of our Advisers.

What happens when my plan is complete?

Once completed, we run through the plan, it's foundations and recommendations then discuss its implementation with you.  Again, if you wish to become part of the Parkside InvestorPlus' clientele, we will quote a suitable service level agreement based on your individual needs.  Some of our clients are high maintenance and enjoy a very close and frequent service from their financial planners.  Others are content with an annual review and regular correspondence, newsletters and telephone contact.  Dependent upon your needs and your circumstances, we will quote an ongoing fee to ensure that you receive the service you want.   This fee can be paid via direct debit or out of the commissions that we may receive from the product provider recommended in your financial plan.

What if I just want a self managed super fund administered?

Because the administration of a self managed superannuation fund is finite, we can refer you to an independent SMSF administrator to quote to administer your fund from go to woe including setup or transfer of your existing fund, BAS, IAS statements, assistance with Trustee issues and minutes  and we can arrange for your tax return to be prepared and independent audits of your fund.  Their costs are based upon the number of assets under management and the number of services you require. They would be happy to quote on the administration of your fund.  Please contact Joe Cahill on (02) 9899 4899 or joec@parksidefs.com.au.
